The City of Banda Aceh

Aceh was previously known by the name of the Special Region of Aceh (1959-2001) and Aceh (2001-2009) is the westernmost province in Indonesia. This area is bordered by the Bay of Bengal in the north, the Indian Ocean to the west, the Strait of Malacca in the east, and North Sumatra in the southeast and south. Aceh is the capital of Banda Aceh. Its port is Malahayati-Krueng Raya, Ulee Lheue, Sabang, Lhokseumawe and Langsa.  Aceh has a wealth of natural resources such as petroleum and natural gas. Natural resources that are located in North Aceh and East Aceh. Aceh is also famous for its forest resources, which lies along the Bukit Barisan range, from Kutacane, Southeast Aceh, Seulawah, Aceh Besar, until Ulu Masen in Aceh Jaya.

Palembang, South Sumatra


Palembang is the provincial capital of South Sumatra. Palembang is the second largest city in Sumatra after Medan. History was once the capital of Palembang's maritime Srivijaya empire that dominates the archipelago and the Malay peninsula in the 9th century also makes this city known by the nickname "Earth Sriwijaya". Based on the inscriptions found on the Mount Kedukan Siguntang Hill west of Palembang, which declared the establishment of a Wanua is interpreted as a city on June 16, 682 before christ, making the city of Palembang as the oldest city in Indonesia. In the Western world, the city of Palembang is also nicknamed the Venice of the East (Indonesian: "Venice of the East").
