Pontianak, West Kalimantan
Pontianak, West Kalimantan is a province in Indonesia, located on the island of Borneo. The total area of West Kalimantan Province is 146,807 km ² (7.53% of Indonesia). Is the fourth largest after Papua province, East Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan. West Kalimantan is one area of the province dubbed "A Thousand Rivers". The nickname is in line with the geographical conditions which have hundreds of large and small rivers that often sailed. West Kalimantan land borders with the state of Sarawak, Malaysia. A small part of West Kalimantan region is a marine, but the West Kalimantan has dozens of large and small islands (most uninhabited) scattered throughout the Karimata and Natuna Sea bordering the region of Riau Islands Province.
